[Video] 01st Shot

[At first, there's an up close and personal view of a Snivy, curiously fiddling with the Pokegear. A woman calls and the grass-type drops it to go scampering off toward the source. A moment later, Mom Lalonde picks it up.]

Excuse her. Curiosity and mischief bundled into one creature seems to be a combination that yields...interesting results. One of them being the theft of communication devices.

[She shrugs, not really bothered by this. Actually, she looks amused by it.]

That being said, where am I? Not to be ungrateful for another chance at life, but this isn't quite what I expected to end up in.

[The Snivy climbs up onto Mom's shoulder, glancing haughtily at the 'gear.]

Though, the creatures we were given are pretty cute, I have to say. Wherever this is, it's not so bad.

[It can be a hell of a lot worse, anyway.]

[He's already running out the door, yanking his coat on and securing his scarf so he doesn't freeze to death. He skids on the street when he sees her. Holy shit.

[Hey, it's somebody else with one of these Snivy things! Maybe hers isn't brooding away from her. Laguna's got a smile on his face!]

[Colour him surprised. His initial plan had been radio silence until he figured out a bit of what's going on since getting here, but seeing her on the network kicked that plan in the balls. So much so that he honestly can't stop himself from switching on his video to reply to her.]

[[HOLY SHIT. Holy shit it's her. It's her! She's here again. And weird stuff isn't going on right now so maybe this isn't part of the weird stuff like it is last time?? [She's a bit hesitant as she approaches, feeling strangely under dressed to meet such an obviously classy Adult Human Lady.]

[John flicks on the video before actually coming up with something to say. Oh goddammit he's having deja vu here. He doesn't really remember exactly what he and Mom talked about when he saw her briefly a few weekends ago, but somehow he gets the feeling he totally flubbed the conversation.]

[Close to Mom, there's a kid waiting standing around in purple pjs. He looks a lot like Bro- almost exactly like Bro, actually, if you aged Bro down a whole lot. It might be hard to tell with the sunglasses in the way, but it seems like he's staring right at her. He's facing in her direction, at least.

The Pawniard at his feet probably makes it a lot more clear, considering it's glancing back and forth between the two of them.]
