[Video] 01st Shot
[At first, there's an up close and personal view of a Snivy, curiously fiddling with the Pokegear. A woman calls and the grass-type drops it to go scampering off toward the source. A moment later, Mom Lalonde picks it up.]
Excuse her. Curiosity and mischief bundled into one creature seems to be a combination that yields...interesting results. One of them being the theft of communication devices.
[She shrugs, not really bothered by this. Actually, she looks amused by it.]
That being said, where am I? Not to be ungrateful for another chance at life, but this isn't quite what I expected to end up in.
[The Snivy climbs up onto Mom's shoulder, glancing haughtily at the 'gear.]
Though, the creatures we were given are pretty cute, I have to say. Wherever this is, it's not so bad.
[It can be a hell of a lot worse, anyway.]

Yeah. Especially if they can fight alongside us - I have the feeling there's more monsters out there, past this town. Wonder if we're stuck with just the one?

I doubt it. We were given five more of the capsules our first came in, so I assume that means we can capture more if we wish.

[He's turned. It seems Ragnarok and a Pidgey have gotten into a scuffle. Wow, it's going well.]

[Strike! Slash! And then, Laguna gets an idea. Oh dear god--]
That looks like a bird, right? Maybe it'd be good to have a bird and a lizard.
[He's trying to show off his knowledge of things he has no idea about. Laguuuuuna.]

[Mom grins.]
In this world, quite a bit would be good to have, I'd think. At least until we figure out how things work. Who knows? Maybe if it gets big enough, you could ride the bird from place to place.

[But at that second remark, Laguna prepares an empty Pokeball.]
It does look a little like a baby Chocobo... here goes nothing!
[Throw. Ragnarok lets out a sigh, as the ball rattles.
And rattles.
And the bird is caught. The camera might go off for a few seconds - returning with the bird perched on Laguna.]
If you just arrived, are you in New Bark Town, too? No use talking though a video when we're in the same place.

This is what they look like - sort of. There's some bigger ones, some smaller ones, and so on. I kind of wanted to get one for Elle when I got her back home...
