rose was injured by some of the mons but it's nothing too serious. she's resting now.

[ It's almost half past ten when Valeria stirs from the impromptu nap she quite literally fell into upon checking into a room at the inn in Saffron. Almost. Staring up at the ceiling through the darkness, she isn't entirely sure she's ready to be up yet, but she doesn't have to be up to send Roxanne a message, now does she? Reaching for the Gear on the bedside table, she'll blink away sleep with natural speed and begin to punch at the keys tiredly. ]

Hey, Roxy. We made it to Saffron around noon earlier today. I'm sorry I didn't let you know sooner. It turns out I was tireder than I thought.

[Whenever Mom returns to her room after her assuredly wonderful day, she will find a small, bright blue box sitting on the counter that was certainly most not there when she left. ON top of the box is a plastic container with a Red Velvet cupcake inside. Someone should really talk to John about using his ghosts to break into people's rooms. It's just not cool.]

[Inside the box medium-sized, white leather-bound photo album with simple gold embossing on the cover. Should she flip through it, Mom will find pictures of Rose and Dave taken over the various years and iterations in Johto. There are just as many terrible and embarrassing candids as there are actual nice, normal pictures. John, Jade, and couple of the trolls make appearances in some of the photos as well but it's clear who the real focus here is.]

[A little over halfway through the book, she'll reach a bright divider with a gold record in the middle of it. Past that point? The pages are filled with nothing but pictures of Dave, and most of them are nice shots instead of things that Dave would probably run John through with his sword for including. (Most, but not all.)]

[In the very back inside cover of the book is a note:]

i had a feeling that you were probably lacking in pictures of dave that weren't stupid selfie shots he took in the mirror.
if you even had those, for that matter.
he won't remember all the stories behind some of these pictures, since some of these are of past daves, but rose can help fill in some of the gaps since she took some of these pictures herself.
but in any case, hopefully this will give you plenty to talk about with both of them.
