[Video] 03rd Shot
[Woooooow, these glitches are only now starting to get on Mom's nerves, but only a little bit. Seriously, being sent to Vermillion City when she should be in Saffron? This just sucks.
So how does she cope with it?
By having dinner and a drink. On the head of her Steelix. While it's moving toward Saffron City.]
You know, the random teleporting around was a little fun the first few times, but now it's starting to be more of a nuisance. Out of curiosity, has anything like this ever happened before?
[Mom takes a sip of her red wine thoughtfully before continuing.]
Also, as I'm a breeder, I pose another question for you all. What sorts of Pokemon would you like to see on the market?

As for pokémon...Well I think it'd be great to so Eevees around. Growlithes and Dratinis too!
[She taps her chin thoughtfully.]
Dragons are pretty rare, that's most certainly true. Have you been looking for a Dratini?
I'd like one, yes! They're really cute and when they evolve, they get so big!
Re: [Video]
[She can't help smiling at that.]
Well, since they're so rare, I wouldn't mind saving a Dratini egg for you. My Dragonite is male, so it wouldn't be a problem.
R-really!?
I-I'm Amu Hinamori, n-nice to meet you!
Anything for a fellow dragon enthusiast! My name is Roxanne Lalonde, and the pleasure is all mine, Amu.
[Mom nods, considering.]
That makes sense. I'll have to check the Pokedex on the more common Pokemon.
[That sure was a fun weekend.]
As far as I can tell, Pokémon that know interesting or rare attacks at birth are also popular. But for that, it's best if the parents are from two different species.
[Dang.]
I'll have to keep that in mind, then, as I take a look at my choices. I might also have to invest in TM's when things quiet down, too.
[That did not give Pokémon levels, disappointing every player of Red and Blue.]
That's always a good idea. Certain TMs, such as Return, can be passed on to practically every species.
[She's thinking along the lines of pez candies.]
I've also found that there are some Pokemon who learn moves that surprise me, mostly from normal-types. Such as Lopunny being able to learn Ice Beam or Sentret learning Flamethrower.
[Though the lack of cavities following that was even more surprising.]
Normal-types do have a particularly large potential moveset, in general. My Clefable can use attacks from thirteen or fourteen types by herself.
[Mom blinks at that.]
Wow! They do seem to be the most resourceful, in that case.
[Every six months, without fail.]
It might be because their type is not strong against any other. They need to compensate for that.
Why the Ice Path?
That makes sense. Perhaps it's also a survival tactic for wild normal types.
[Or both.]
Or a sign that they are less specialized, and that the Normal-type is the base type.
[She nods, thoughtful.]
Well, whatever the case, they are a fascinating type all on their own, as long as someone knows how to exploit their strengths and versatility.
[Until it refreezes right under your feet.]
Quite a few people simply do not bother with that. I think Whitney discourages them.
